Gale Ranch Middle School

The goal of the SRV Council of PTAs Parent Education committee is to support parents, guardians and family caregivers by strengthening and teaching parenting skills and encouraging involvement in schools and at home; supporting the understanding of childhood development stages; providing resource materials; and networking with agencies and groups focusing on parent involvement. To this end, each unit is asked to have a Parent Education representative.  That rep should attend monthly meetings.  Additional duties of the unit rep are to organize parent ed events to be held at their school, publicize parent ed events that are forwarded to them from the council VP and assist in the planning of the annual parent conference.
