Program Overview
What is Sister School Program?
Sister School Program is a district wide PTA sponsored program that benefits students of the San Ramon Valley Unified School District (SRVUSD) .
Mission/Goal
To benefit the students of SRVUSD by promoting volunteerism,community engagement and teaching the joy of helping others in need.
How is the goal accomplished ?
- The goal is accomplished by partnering each participating school in the SRVUSD with a sister school in the neighboring disadvantaged area of East Bay.
- The schools in the SRVUSD conduct a minimum of two drives/fundraisers per year for items that benefits the children of their Sister School.
Our Sister School
Gale Ranch Middle is very proud to be partnered with Lincoln Elementary School in Richmond.

- Location - “Iron Triangle” neighborhood of Richmond
- Total Student Enrollment - 436 (K-6 )
- On free/reduced lunch - 95% of students

The Sister School philanthropic program benefits the students of the SRVUSD by fostering civic responsibility, enhancing community engagement, promoting volunteerism, and teaching the joy of helping others in need. This goal is accomplished by partnering each school in the SRVUSD with a Sister School in a neighboring disadvantaged area of the East Bay. Through collaborative determination of need, schools in the SRVUSD conduct a minimum of two drives and/or fundraisers per year for items that benefit the children of their Sister Schools. Sister School Representatives will attend three Council-led meetings per year in addition to coordinating the program efforts at their school.
