Teacher Grants

Dear Gale Ranch Teacher and Staff,

Gale Ranch PTSA - “Mini Grant” 2023-24
What is it?
A great opportunity for GRMS Staff in any department/grade level with a wishlist or a dream project looking for some support and funding
 
Who Can Enter?
Any GRMS Staff that is also a member of Gale Ranch PTSA is welcome to apply. Grant application can be submitted by a group of teachers, or individually.
 
Guidelines:
  • To apply, please fill out the google form
  • Applicants should be a current member in good standing in the Gale Ranch Middle  school.  (i.e., Please ensure you have submitted a Staff Membership form already.  If you are not currently a member, it is not too late to join to become eligible!)
  • Grant applications will be reviewed by PTSA board for selection
  • Applicants will be notified of approval/denial after committee review
  • Funds will be awarded at the next PTSA association meeting after we receive the application.
  • A record of all applications will be kept with the GRMS PTSA
  • There is a $300.00 limit per mini-grant. The total budgeted amount is $3000.
  • Items purchased should benefit a large number of students and have a lasting impact in the classroom/school. 
  • You may have a co-requestor as sometimes teachers/staff in the same grade level/department want to team up to get items for the entire grade-level/department.
 

Funding Process
 
At the time of notification of grant approval, an Authorization of Payment Form will be forwarded for your use.
 
  • Recipients will be reimbursed for actual expenses up to but not exceeding the grant amount. 
  • You purchase the product then submit an Authorization of Payment form (with original receipts attached). PTA Treasurer will write a check to the grant recipient for reimbursement.
  • Funds awarded must be spent and Authorization of payment forms be received by May 5th, 2024.
