GRMS Teacher Experiences

WHAT: Teacher & Me Experiences - Tuesday, May 7th: Directly after school until 4:00pm *Principal For The Day & Front Office Fun will take place during the school day on Thursday, May 16th.
SIGN UP, REGISTER & PAY: March 18 (7:00am) - March 22 (11:59pm). Spots will be limited for each experience. Experiences only available to Gale Ranch students. *Students will only be able to sign up for ONE experience as they are all taking place at the same day and time.
DETAILS: Confirmation will be sent to parent/guardian by Thursday, March 28, 2024. Reminder emails will be sent a week before the experience. Students will also receive a detailed email with information the day before with where to meet and what to bring (if needed).

3v3 SOCCER TOURNEY: Coach Constantinides & Coach Faidley will share their soccer knowledge. Partner with two buddies to compete against some the best soccer players at Gale Ranch. Sign up quick- there are only 3 teams for each division (competitive and rec). Each team plays two 15-minute games. Must be wearing athletic clothing and proper shoes in order to participate. Snacks provided. (Limited to 18 students.)

BOARD & BRUSH AT THE RANCH: Join Ms. Barr, Mrs. Geche and Mx. Saunders, and unleash your creativity with friends as you craft stunning wood boards. From the excitement of staining, to the joy of painting, put on your aprons! A fun afternoon with friends, and creating lasting memories. Don't miss out on the chance to make your own masterpiece – secure your spot today to join in on this event that's filled with laughter and artistic delight! (Limited to 15 students.)

CALLING ALL SWIFTIES: Come join Ms. Larson & Ms. Watkin, for a fun CRAFTernoon! We will make friendship bracelets while we sing and dance a long to our favorite artist, Taylor Swift! Snacks and drinks provided! (Limited to 25 students.)

ESCAPE FROM STRANGER THINGS: Join Ms. Seufert and Mrs. Faidley in the Upside Down. As a member of the Hawkins MS AV club, you are distraught to hear that your friend Will has gone missing. You and the remaining members of the party find yourselves in the principal’s office, where you discover a police file along with a strange locked box that you realize contains the mysterious portal between you and Will. Upon closer examination of the evidence in the file, you realize that Will is trying to communicate with you from the Upsidedown. Can you decipher his messages, and get him back to the portal before it closes for good? (Limited to 12 students.)

FRONT OFFICE FUN: Students will have the opportunity to be a TA for half a day. You will shadow a current TA and learn the ins and outs of the front office. Enjoy a buffet tea party lunch that will include lots of yummy treats! (Limited to 2 students.)

KAROKE PIZZA PARTY: Bring your youtube karaoke link or two and be ready to sing. Have a fun afternoon full of singing and pizza with Mr. Vaughan, Mr. Hunau, Mrs. Knapp, Mr. Kontilis & Mrs. Brunetti. No spectators! (Limited to 12 students.)

KICKBALL: Put your game face on and get ready for a fun afternoon out on the field with, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Pakdel, Mrs. Neuman, Mrs. Ellis, Mr. Schlientz & Mr. Erickson. Snacks provided. Students participating in this event must wear athletic clothing and proper athletic shoes in order to participate. (Limited to 30 students.)

PAINT BY NUMBERS: Mrs. Briare & Ms. Rousseau will be hosting a fun paint by numbers event where students can come enjoy some time with friends while creating a masterpiece to bring home! Light snacks and drinks will be provided as well, come join us for an exciting afternoon! We can’t wait to see you there! (Limited to 15 students).

PRINCIPAL FOR THE DAY: Students will have the opportunity to shadow Ms. Torres, while being excused from their morning or afternoon classes. Learn the about what it takes to be the big boss on campus. Lunch will be provided for both students. (Limited to 2 students.)

UKELE JAM SESSION: Bring your Ukele and join Ms. Schwab for a jam session. Share your skills and musical talent with the group while also picking up a few new tricks. (Limited to 8 students.)
